Moto G4 Plus launched in India at a starting price of Rs 13,499, Moto G4 also announced

After teasing the Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus multiple times in the past couple of weeks, Motorola has finally unveiled the two smartphones in India. The latest Moto G duo run Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Moto Pure software on top, which offers new features like swipe to dismiss, swipe to unlock and pick up to stop ringing.

The Moto G4 features a 5.5-inch full HD display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection, and sports a slim 7.9mm metal frame. The phone is powered by a 1.5GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor, aided by 2GB of RAM. It comes with 16GB of internal memory, which can be further increased up to 128GB by inserting a microSD card. For imaging, the Moto G4 comes with a 13-meg primary snapper with an LED flash and laser autofocus, and a 5-meg secondary shooter. In terms of connectivity, it offers 4G LTE, VoLTE, NFC, dual-SIM with dual-standby, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and A-GPS. The handset is fuelled by a 3,000mAh battery, and ships with a TurboPower charger. It gets a splash-proof coating, but misses out on the water-resistant capabilities of its predecessor.

The Moto G4 Plus on the other hand comes with a 16-megapixel primary snapper with a dual-LED flash, laser autofocus and phase detection autofocus. Additionally, it features a front-mounted fingerprint sensor, which is missing on the Moto G4. It is also available in an additional 3GB RAM and 32GB storage option. The rest of its specifications are the same as the Moto G4.
The Moto G4 Plus has been priced at Rs 13,499 for the 2GB RAM + 16GB ROM variant, and Rs 14,999 for the 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM edition. The price of the Moto G4 will be announced next month. As revealed earlier, the phones will be available in black and white options exclusively on Amazon India starting tonight, bundled with Kindle ebooks worth Rs 1,000, Goibibo cash worth Rs 15,000 and a 100 percent cashback for select customers.
